My mommy is now 20 weeks pregnant, which means I am halfway to my birthdate! I have now grown to about 10 inches from head to toe, and I weigh about 10 ounces. My permanent teeth are already startin’ to form behind my baby teeth, and I can now move and roll my eyes. Though, not always in tandem.
I’ve learned how to tell the difference between morning, afternoon, and night. I’m even growing eyebrows and hair!
As much fun as it is in here, I can’t wait to see everyone. I’ve heard so many different voices and noises, I’m starting to think it’s going to be a lot of fun on the outside!
Mommy and Daddy got me a baby Bible last week, and they started reading to me about “My Great Big God.” I don’t really understand it all yet, but they said they would read it to me a lot so I can learn it.

Alright, alright. I tried to hold out as long as I could without tellin’ everyone if I am a boy or a girl. But on Friday, Mommy and Daddy went to one of those places where they sit for a long time, and then go into some dark room. A lady started pressin’ around all over the place, and next thing I know she’s tellin’ them that I’m a boy!
They were so happy of course, but I was kinda bummed cuz it was the one secret I have in here! I tried hiding from the machine (that’s why my hand is over my face in the picture), but it’s just so cramped in here and I had nowhere to go! And the lady got such a clear shot of my sensitive parts, there was no denying it. But there’s no way I’m posting that picture.
Well, I’m up to 7 ounces now, and my eyes are becoming very sensitive to light. I’m gettin’ really good at using my muscles, so I’ve learned how to cross my legs, suck my thumb, and I can even turn somersaults. Although, I heard Mommy and Daddy reading a baby book the other day and at this point I’m givin’ Mommy some aches and pains in here legs and tailbone. So I guess I should keep the somersaults to a minimum. They’re just so much fun! I love you Mommy!
