Well, the new little one is moving lots these days! And I simply love it!!! I don’t remember the first time I felt Aiden move, but I do believe that I’m feeling this boy’s movements much sooner. Could be that I am just attune to it this time around. The other morning while giving Aiden-boy his 6:00am feeding, I felt the new little guy start moving! It was one of the most precious moments. I felt as though I was holding and cuddling both of my boys at the same time- for the first time! Oh how I look forward to those times… As I sat there I was thinking about all the good times, all the special times we have ahead of us. And it made me cherish the special time that we have now. Life is such a miracle, so beautiful, so amazing! Feeling that little one inside me is truly breathtaking. I love to tell Michael when I feel this new little one moving inside me. It is something that I want to share with others! I want them to be included in this blessing

Can you believe it? Oh my goodness. Thank you Lord!!! What a blessing! About a week and a half ago I was feverishly weeding the garden and obsessing about making it look tidy. I know its too early for the “nesting syndrome” but I wondered anyway. So, just before hopping in the shower I tried the test and wha-la! Was I actually seeing TWO purple lines??? I couldn’t believe it! It was too good to be true. I let it set for another minute and the line didn’t go anywhere. In fact- it got darker. Yes, we were going to have another little one and our boy was going to be a BIG brother! For 45 seconds I entertained the thought of waiting for a special moment to tell Michael. Maybe I would have him take us out to dinner or something like that…. Nope! I was too excited to wait. In one motion I swooped Aiden up and told him “lets go tell Daddy”! We walked toward the studio and said “Babe-come here”, to which I got the romantic reply of “what? I’m working”.  :-) We walked through the door grinning and said “where are we going to put the other baby?”. He jumped up, grinning, to excited and hopeful to believe it. There was much rejoicing.  On Fathers Day both of our families came over and we shared the joyous news with them! Which followed with more rejoicing, hugging, crying and overall happiness. Our parents love, love, LOVE being Grandparents- and our siblings love being Aunts and Uncles! With the next post I’ll put up some pictures from that wonderful day. Happiness….. Thank you Lord!!!

It’s Christmas time and my due date is just weeks away! I’m getting sooooo big! I’m not sayin how much I weigh, but Mom and Dad think I’m over 8lbs!

Whew! Can you believe that I could be here anyday now? Technically that is. I want it to ultimately be a surprise- but I’m giving everyone a pretty convincing idea that I’m arriving on time if not a little bit late. First babies usually do arrive late you know.

Today my Mommy and I had the best day ever! As a nice Christmas present surprise Daddy took Mommy to the “Glen Ivy Spa” to get a maternity massage and scrub (and a pedicure too)! She was in complete shock and utter amazement (I could tell by her rapid heartbeat and excited voice). Daddy said that Mommy deserved it for being a good pregnant lady It was Mommy and my first time having any type of spa treatments - and boy did we enjoy it!!! I was so happy I couldn’t help but kick while I was there and the lady noticed, but she seemed to like my enthusiasm. We came away from it sooooo euphorically rested and relaxed! Mommy was so relaxed she kinda accidentally walked into the wall on her way out the door… All of Mommy’s aching muscles and joints felt wonderfully normal again! She had a nice long talk with me in the pool too. It was special and oh-so-wonderful. Thank you Daddy!!!!!!!!!!!

First I’d like to say thank you to everyone for such an awesome baby shower! I couldn’t see anything of course but I could hear lots of family ‘n fun. Mommy and Daddy say I have everything I need already, which is a relief cuz the last thing I wanna do when I’m born is go shopping.

January seems so far away at times… I can’t wait to see everyone! I’m now about 3 1/2 lbs. but Daddy says I’m not done cookin’ yet. Just a little while longer in the oven.

I have to say, it’s getting kind of cramped in here. Mama does a great job carryin’ me but I’m running out of room, I wanna’ stretch my legs! But you know what’s the best part about being in the tummy? This feeding tube, it’s great! I don’t even have to do anything, I just lay here all day curled up in my little ball, and all of my food and water is fed right through this tube into my body. Paradise I tell you. Hope I get to keep it when I’m on the outside!

Yay! With each week that passes, I’m closer to being able to see everyone! By now I am about 2 and a half pounds and about 15 inches! My size explains why Mommy and Daddy are able to feel my kicks and movements so easily. Sometimes I stretch out and Mommy can feel me pushing on one side of her tummy with my hands while my feet kick the other side! I can hear the smile in her voice when she tells Daddy what I’m doing.

Ohh- and guess what? Today is my Daddy’s birthday! Yay! Happy Birthday Daddy! I love you so very much already and I can’t wait to celebrate all your birthdays to come- and I’m excited about being able to celebrate this one with you too Mommy told me that she couldn’t even begin to tell you how much you mean to her- so I thought I’d try and pass the word along! She loves everything about you and hopes you know how very much she appreciates the man that you are. She is proud of you. You know what Daddy? I want to be a man like you.

Week 24 is here! I am now about 8 1/2 inches long, about the size of a banana! My skin is becoming less translucent, as I’m starting to develop pigment. I’m all wrinkly right now cuz my body is making skin faster than it’s making the fat pad underneath it! I’ve been havin’ bouts of hiccups lately, and every time I do I jump and I hear Mommy say “I felt baby!”.

This past week Mommy and Daddy went to the L.A. County Fair (which of course means I went along). I heard horses and goats and roosters and all sorts of animals! Lots of fun. I can’t wait ’til next year when I can see ‘em all!

Guess what? For the first time ever I got to feel Daddy! On Saturday he was feelin’ around on Mama’s tummy and I guess he had his hand pressed in the right spot cuz when I moved I felt him! It was so cool! I always knew he was out there, and I can hear him all the time, but to actually feel him was somethin’ special.

Okay, that’s all for now. Time to get back to my moon bounce (Mommy’s bladder)!
